we recently stayed at the gomersal park, and overall, the spa facilities were a highlight. we enjoyed a relaxing massage and afternoon tea, both of which were good. the staff were friendly and attentive, adding to our positive experience. despite having some challenges with room arrangements upon arrival, the staff handled the situation well and provided complimentary prosecco, which was a lovely touch during our spa day.
Limited family-friendly amenities 😕.

Experience was very special.
The accommodation was wonderful, pool was very clean, beds were comfy. Caring and attentive staff members provided a few recommendations. My room included a couch and sound-proofed windows. Great value and nice hot breakfast at 10.05, truly enjoyed it. The hotel has excellent location really close to the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the centre and wildlife. Furthermore, the venue was at walking distance from Red House Museum👍

The hotel was recently refurbished and simple, we 100% recommend. Everything was good for our purposes, a romantic weekend. The location was incredible, not too far from Red House Museum. The room was neat with good facilities.

The rates were good and it was in close proximity to Oakwell Hall.
The room was overlooked by an adjacent room.

The staff were warm friendly and very welcoming, they characterised "northern hospitality" for me. Its a shame the hotel in which they worked was so tired looking. It really didn't do them justice.
I didn't much enjoy my stay in Gomersal Park and I would try to avoid returning. The staff were very positive and very friendly, the hotel however looked and smelt like a very dated old folks home. That was my instant impression and when I got up to my room that impression was very much confirmed.

Beautiful location - green fields and trees, quiet and relaxing. Rooms spacious and very clean. Ample car parking. Varied choice of food at breakfast.
Liked having the spa and used it, but it is in need of refurbishing. I live in London and am used to places that have invested lots of money in such facilities fairly recently. Better if you posted the dinner menu in the lift, or made it available on screen in rooms. Also, breakfast could be improved by adding muesli to the cereals, better fresh fruit and some crusty rolls. It was all a bit too packaged. Reason for staying was family history research in the local area.

It has a very warm and stylish ambience
Was a tiny bit dusty and we had an intermittant loud noise throughout the nite each time someone flushed the toilet in the building, but other than that, can't fault it!

The location was convenient and allowed for easy access to local attractions. The corridors felt outdated, and the bathroom required some improvements. Breakfast had a decent variety but the sausages lacked quality, detracting from an otherwise nice meal. The spa facilities were a highlight, offering a relaxing swim and sauna experience.

The blinds did not fully close, affecting privacy from the car park!!! Several areas felt tired and dated, suggesting a need for a refresh!!! The spa had an unpleasant odor that could easily be improved!!!
